JW Sharer is an artist, photographer, and retired university art professor/administrator who works in digital media. The camera sometimes captures the look and feel being sought, but more often the images the camera records are considered by him as starting points for exploring alterations. He uses overlapping and juxtaposed forms to create more abstract imagery and associations for viewers to experience new ways of seeing what is depicted in his work.
